The Full Story

Resilient Core Wellness was founded with one mission: to make fitness accessible, enjoyable, and grounded in real results without the pressure or hype. Led by Brandon Bennett, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist, Resilient Core Wellness provides a relaxed, client-centered environment where individuals can build strength, resilience, and confidence at their own pace.

Brandon’s experience in fitness spans nearly two decades, starting as a boys’ gymnastics strength and conditioning coach from 2005 to 2007. Following this, he served 11 years as a Physical Training Leader (PTL) in the U.S. Air Force, where he led group training and one-on-one coaching from 2007 until 2018. This experience allowed him to help individuals from all walks of life improve their health and fitness, cultivating a balanced and practical approach to training.

In addition to fitness coaching, Brandon brings an extensive background in behavior coaching. His experience includes work as a Volunteer Victim Advocate in the Department of Defense, contributing to a Suicide Prevention App, and serving as a front-line supervisor in the Air Force with multiple deployments. He’s also a Black Belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, bringing both discipline and compassion to his coaching. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Coaching, Brandon’s behavior coaching is built on a stoic, resilience-focused approach, empowering clients to set meaningful goals and navigate challenges with confidence.

Currently the sole trainer at Resilient Core Wellness, Brandon envisions expanding the team in the future by partnering with professionals who share his dedication to accessible, functional fitness. Whether you’re looking to improve strength, mobility, or overall wellness, Resilient Core Wellness offers a supportive, approachable environment designed to help you thrive.

Outside of formal coaching, Brandon has a lifelong passion for recreational sports, including baseball, football, hockey, volleyball, scuba diving, and, his personal favorite, snowboarding. This extensive background contributes to a unique, well-rounded approach to fitness that prioritizes functional strength, injury prevention, and joy in movement.
